Hydrophobic paints

Perfectly colorless, non-rigidifying product with a choice of hydrophobic or super hydrophobic.

The packaging of this hydrophobic colorless paint is proposed in 400 ml aerosol cans, easy and convenient to use. For professionals and administrations, we can, on request, propose formats in large cans.
The application of this very liquid product is not perfectly recommended with the brush or the roller. It is much easier and quicker to use this product by spraying, i.e. with spray guns, aerosols, airless guns.

The product is ready to use and can be stored easily. It is used directly without any dilution. It has an excellent adhesion power on almost all the supports.

Hydrophobic paint

Regarding its appearance, it does not bring any shine or particular patterns.
Moreover, it is really transparent, even after the application of several coats.
This product, which has a strong water repellency, is made of silicone and evaporates 90% when applied.
During this drying or evaporation period, it may give off an unpleasant and noxious odor, which is due to the solvents.
The product does not attack or deteriorate substrates.
However, we do not recommend the application of this hydrophobic paint on any support.
It is important to understand that the product is permanent and that it is difficult to remove it from the surface once applied. The product will deposit a film of hydrophobic paint a few microns thick on the surface. It is intended for installations and constructions exposed to both indoor and outdoor use.
We do not recommend the use on car bodies or clothes, because as explained before, the product cannot be easily removed afterwards.

The innovative technology of this transparent and invisible water-repellent film allows for extreme surface tension, which makes water-based liquids roll off and completely prevents the surface from getting wet, i.e. water from penetrating inside.
Due to the thinness of the dry film, the substrate still breathes, but water cannot enter the substrate.

Efficiencies for various uses

The product is very effective in preventing the development of moss and mold due to the stagnation of moisture in the porosity of the material, especially on exterior walls and floors that do not receive direct sunlight.
Of course, we also think of the protection of urban walls against urine and dirt. Areas that have been damaged by bird droppings can also be treated effectively. It will be very easy to clean these areas with water or a high pressure cleaner.
It should be noted that high-pressure cleaners will not remove the hydrophobic coating that is firmly attached to its surface.
Our protection also has a real efficiency against hydrocarbons and oils.

The mode of application of this Hydrophobic protection

In general, we recommend applying two coats, although one coat may be sufficient. It is a question of how durable the product is expected to be. It is perfectly possible to apply multiple coats to an area that is very heavily subjected to various projections, including friction and abrasion. Applying multiple coats allows you to create more dry product thickness.
Remember that 90% of the product evaporates, so when 1L of product is applied on 10 m², there remains after evaporation 100 ml on these 10 m², which constitutes 10 microns, or only 0.01 mm of thickness.
To apply the product, it is very simple: it is enough to make a coat every five minutes. The complete drying occurs within 12 hours, during which time the surface should not be used.
