Mode of application: on paint or white primer necessarily, application in the pistol. Realize the mixture in weight (100 parts of blue base/15 parts of hardener and 5 to 15 parts of thinner (optional if we paint in the brush). Apply 3 to 5 layers according to the intensity of the sought blue. Respect 5/10 minutes between every layer. Life expectancy of the mixture: 1 hour. Drying with heart: 24 hours. Warning : the proposed Blue is a transparent matt blue, the more we shall apply of layer, the more the blue will be deep and darkened, thus it is important to apply layers in a homogeneous way. Our Overseas Blue paint is extremely resistant outdoors.
It allows a very high resistance to sun, UVs, bad weather.
You will find the Ultramarine Blue or Ultramarine Blue 1 in the Colour Index under the code PB29. Its RAL reference is RAL 5002 Ultramarine Blue
Obtained initially from lapis lazuli, it was a precious colour. Today the pigment is synthetic (sodium aluminosilicate thiosulfate)

Here are the ingredients:
Select a two-component acrylic "soft" varnish
Mix 5 to 20 g of acrylic concentrated white shade
Warning: the more white you put, the more you will lose transparency and the passage of light
Mix transparent shade "Cobalt Blue"
Approximately 50 to 70 g per liter of pure varnish

What is the difference between this recipe and PB29 acrylic ultramarine paint?
the pigments are semi opaque, while the use of a transparent dye will give more depth to the blue
