These lacquers, clear coats, mediums or binders are acrylic resin-based, and provide odourless, solvent-free, non harmful and non hazardous formulations. These next-generation products nevertheless offer excellent durability for indoor and outdoor uses, and are UV-stable
They are used as acrylic paints or topcoats on wood, metal or others. As for binders and mediums, they allow various uses in artistic or decorative practices.

These different terms refer to fairly similar products, which are used for different purposes:
A topcoat is similar to a paint or a lacquer, apart from the fact that it is transparent and colourless. A lacquer is a tinted, opaque or transparent clear coat.
A topcoat and a lacquer have the same use: they are applied as a final layer of gloss finish.
As for the binder, it can be a matt or gloss clear coat, it binds pigments and dyes together, in the same way that a "medium" does for the purely graphic and artistic field.
