These specialties are available as powders, pigments, or paints. We detail the most interesting ones below, you will find in our list probably the best special products in the world, because we are specialized collectors in this field!
Multi-layer work :
First thing to know: you can't mix glitter, pearlescent or pigments in a paint.
In order for the light to be reflected and returned, it is necessary to work with a totally transparent medium.
> Therefore, we use varnish, or "binder". The binder is a transparent paint base that is easy to use
the glitter effects or others, must always be positioned OVER the paint / opaque color and UNDER the varnish.
the varnish has an amplifying role of the iridescence effect, when it is shiny and thick.
To create pearlescent, metallic or glitter effects, here is our selection:
Holographic glitter :
easy to use, ultra effective, they project a powerful reflections to the color of the rainbow. They are opaque, metallic and colored.
Crystal pearls (pure synthetic mica) or Diamond (silicate glass)
micro transparent particles, they weigh almost nothing thanks to their microscopic thickness: 25g thus represent a very consequent quantity of developed surface.
they give off colored iridescent reflections when light hits them. They can be added very easily in the varnish, on top of any color or decoration.
the Diamond version is a fabulously glittery version, with a larger size (the diameter of the mother of pearl is doubled). this makes it look more like a transparent micro glitter.
Polyester glitters:
These are the classic hexagonal and metallic glitters. Available in many colors, they reflect the light intensely.
Phosphorescent pigments
Can be used to create phosphorescent paints by mixing in the varnish, or to make phosphorescent resin castings
with our epoxy resin 4000 for casting and glazing.
Micro-beads
Here is an unusual product, particularly interesting, and relatively rare: These are microscopic beads capable of increasing and reflecting light in all directions.
Always use on a white background, and on the surface of the varnish.
Candy Inks
are ultra concentrated and transparent inks that can tint varnishes or resins, letting the light pass through completely.
