Paint for model making : the different series of HIKARI

This « Hobby » range, abundant with 200 color codes, is dedicated to the world of creative hobbies :
The Hikari project is to offer model artists or figurines, the most beautiful colors ready to paint.

« Hikari Modeling » is available in different ranges of colors and characteristics : these colors are grouped into 5 main groups. As for the art colors, they are organized into 8 color families.

« Hikari Model » series for model making is dedicated to scale models; it is made up of a range of technical and specific colors, such as the military colors of the past, the specific color codes of RAL or FS (Federal Standard) most used by model makers.

« Model » series extends to figurinism and miniaturism : figurine paint is honored with a splendid collection of 8 families each containing 8 artistic colors. These compositions of colors are designed to reproduce reality and imitate the natural tones of armor, leather, bones, flesh ... with their nuances of shadows or reflections. In addition to these series, a series of washes, aging effects or textures of the range « HIKARI FX ».

« Hikari RC » series for RC model making specializes in the field of radio-controlled machines, for the painting of mini motorized machines. In this field, we use paints applied with an airbrush or a spray gun often from the inside of a transparent shell. Model paints

The HIKARI Model range consists of water-based acrylic paints, but also some solvent-based or alcohol-based paints, specially designed for the painting of models, military vehicles, models, boats, airplanes, racing cars and motorcycles, of all types.
Released in 2021, the HIKARI range benefits from all the best innovations in terms of chemical formulation of paints.
In the professional MODEL range dedicated to model making and scale models, most of the military and historical color codes are available in airbrush compatible versions, offering excellent adhesion on plastics, wood, metals, Lexan.
