Chrome paints 

DESCRIPTION : The chrome effect paint products a beautiful chrome paint look finish with mirror effect. This product truly imitates chrome and cannot be compared to any other paint. Chrome paint is a cost-effective and non toxic option. Other different solutions exist to achieve chrome effects.

USE : Mirror chrome effect paint does not require any special equipment: a simple spray gun model is suitable. It’s a special paint but relatively simple to apply. Primer preparation and topcoat application are delicate steps and require good fundamentals in automotive painting.

Chrome paint - Chrome spray paint

ASPECT : This product is very liquid and has a grey appearance. Applied properly, and without topcoat, it ensures a maximum chrome effect, by forming a chrome plating of a few microns thick. When a clear coat is applied, the paint loses more or less its mirror effect, depending on the skill and patience of the applicator. A properly applied topcoat reduces little the mirror effect. A poorly applied topcoat can annihilate the mirror effect

PURPOSE : Automotive industry, design, decoration. It’s possible to paint any type of material with mirror paint, such as metal, aluminum, plastics, wood, polycarbonate, etc. The important thing is to apply the substrate specific primer, before applying the chrome paint. (see our Primers section).

Application using all types of Chrome Spray paint : Standard guns, low pressure guns, airbrushes (fine nozzles). Use a fine nozzle <1.5 mm for best spray results.
