Read moreHow do I order an Isuzu paint job ? Above all, it is imperative to know the precise reference of its paint among the color codes of Asian cars, and among others the color codes of Isuzu cars, without which it is impossible to place an order.
Next, determine if your current Isuzu paint is a metallic or opaque paint: if your paint is metallic/pearlescent, then go to the "base paint to varnish coats" page.
If your paint does not contain reflective pigments and it is a simple opaque paint, then preferably go to the "direct gloss" page.
Before entering the Isuzu color code in the box provided, simply select the packaging you prefer (aerosol or paint pot) and the quantity you need (250 ml, 500 ml, 1L kit or 2L kit), then click on the basket.
If you can't find the small box to enter the paint reference, then you can very easily send us your code by e-mail right after ordering. When we receive the order, we immediately carry out the painting and we send it by express (sent in 24 hours in France or in 48/72 hours in Europe) if your order was placed before 3 p.m.
How much do I need ?
Simply determine approximately, that is to say at a glance, by multiplying the length times the width of the part (wing, bonnet, bumper...) to obtain the quantity of area in square meters.
It takes about 1L to paint 5 m², and therefore, it takes about 250 ml to paint 1 m².
Of course, it's always better to have a little more paint than a little less paint.
Like all car manufacturers, Isuzu has produced different models and both to innovate or follow trends, each model and each year has brought new shades. This is how the color chart of the Isuzu brand was expanded with dozens, then a hundred different colors.
We can observe a clear differentiation of colors between the 1960s, then the 1990s with the appearance of metallics, then the 2000s, with the generalization of pearlescent paints, which are more qualitative, more beautiful and finer.
We offer formats for all paints according to the Isuzu color code :
• aerosol, whose total volume is 400 ml. This volume naturally includes 75% propellants. So, you have to be aware that an aerosol, like any spray paint, only contains 25% Isuzu paint, or 100 ml. Our aerosols contain the same products as professional pot products. They allow you to do very high quality work. When it comes to Isuzu metallic or pearlescent colours, you should always remember to order the two-component bodywork varnish aerosol available from us.
• The pot of paint: there are 2 versions, firstly the small packaging of 250 ml and 500 ml which are already diluted paints. These formats are therefore ready to use and there is no mixing to do. Then there are the "kits" which are offers including pure paint and separate thinner. You just have to dilute it by adding between 50% and 70% of thinner in the Isuzu paint. This is quick and easy and is done according to individual preferences, in particular depending on the nozzle of the gun used.
The Japanese brand Isuzu Motors is commonly known as Isuzu. Its history begins in 1916 in Tokyo when it was founded by a brilliant and passionate engineer who joined forces with the national gas and electricity company to build the first automobiles during the onset of the frenzy and automotive adventure around the world. It benefited after years following the devastating earthquake which destroyed all the railways, by enabling it to produce more vehicles and trucks to replace all the destroyed infrastructure.
It is a worldwide car manufacturer, with headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. This Japanese manufacturer is known for its utility vehicles, pick-ups, vans and all types of professional vehicles, with diesel engines only.
In Japan, it will quickly develop and build trucks for industry and also buses for the transport of people. It will join forces with other Japanese companies such as Nissan to create DATSUN vehicles in particular.
The Isuzu conglomerate is spread all over the world under business associations, that is to say partnerships with local companies, as well in India as in Russia or South Africa for example.
The diesel engines built and designed by Isuzu are renowned and used throughout the world, in particular by the giant American manufacturer General Motors. This link with the American manufacturer is not new since it dates back to 1920, when GM acquired almost 1/3 of the shares of the Isuzu company. Moreover, Isuzu is firmly established in the United States through several manufacturing plants, from which came the famous Chevrolet LUVs entirely built by Isuzu.
It is very important to determine what its color code is, because without this essential information. It is almost impossible, unless one has the name of the color, to order or make a painting. It is not possible to search the database with a year or a model.
For ISUZU brand vehicles, the plate mentioning the color code (vinplate) can be found in two different places :
- Inside the engine compartment, inside the hood, against the bottom of the windshield.
- On the left door leaf on the driver's side.
You can take help from the images provided below which illustrates the location.
The color code is always composed of three to four characters (letters or numbers).
ISUZU PAINT : Our paintings are sent in less than 24 hours with two carriers of your choice (chronopost or TNT) in secure shipment (inflammable materials).
As the Japanese manufacturer is largely involved in the production of commercial vehicles and trucks, it can be seen that more than 50% of the colors of the Isuzu brand are white colors.
White is both an economical color, but also effective and neutral.
Surprisingly, we can find in the database a number of complex colors, usually reserved for the world of motorcycling : we are talking here about three-layer tints, which are high quality colors, with a more complex application, which consists of the application of 3 layers instead of 2, that is to say a base, a paint, then a varnish.
These three-layer paints are separated, in order to allow a pearl effect and a maximum depth effect, because of course, if the pearls are mixed with the paint, often the shine effect is greatly reduced.
Here is a reference example for Isuzu paints taken from our database which includes around a hundred colors.
We find in the first column the Isuzu color code, then the name of the color, then the year is the brand :
531 First Coat Isuzu 2011 - 2020
531 Silky White Isuzu 2011 - 2020
5369 White Isuzu 1999 - 2003
