Application summary CRYSTAL INTERFERENCE paint system
1/ apply the base color (2 coats)
2/ apply the GHOST interference color (2 to 4 coats)
3/ apply the varnish (2 coats)
The 3 steps are carried out in sequence, in "wet on wet"

The Crystal Interference paint kit:
It is a three-layer system, presenting a base color of your choice + a transparent pearlescent layer with colored highlights, then a varnish. The pearlescent effect can be of a color contradictory to the color of the base (interference*) to create an interesting visual.
"CRYSTAL" refers to the range of high-quality transparent mother-of-pearls from the CRYSTAL range
"GHOST" is the new range of 9 transparent paints producing interfering pearlescent highlights and using "CRYSTAL" mother-of-pearls

Products included:

- 3L of paint for background (solvent based 1K basecoat)

- 3L of pearl intercoat Crystal transparent

- 2L of Ultra High Solid clearcoat + 0.66L of hardener and 250ml of thinner.

EFFECT:

The Crystal interference effect is the result from the combination of the  background colour + transparent crystal coat:

It’s a transparent pearl effect that appears under light, in daylight as well at night.

It doesn’t change, or little, the colour of the background and is invisible in the dark.

The perlescent effect is subtle when applied over a light-coloured background (white, yellow) and becomes much more noticeable over a darker background (black, navy blue)

The number of colour  combinations with the background colour and crystal shade is multiple and the result achieved is always unique !

In all cases, it’s better to choose a colour that will show dramatic contrast between the background and the Crystal undercoat (e.g. green/gold), hence the name "interference".

APPLICATION:

The application is very easy, to be done in 1 go (All products are applied in sequence) (Application method shown on the boxes):
1/ Apply the base paint (ready-to-use single-component paint, pre-diluted) with 2 to 6 thin coats
2/ In the next half hour, apply the GHOST Interference effect in 2 to 4 thin coats.
3/ In the next half hour, apply the UHS automotive varnish (mixture of 3 parts varnish for 1 part hardener and 5 to 10% thinner) with 2 glossy coats spaced 10 minutes apart.
