For us to do the painting, we need to provide us with a color code. Where can I find this color code on CITROEN brand vehicles? :

At CITROEN, the plate with the color code (vinplate) is located either:
- At the level of the front cover
- Inside the passenger or driver doors
- At the level of the fuses

The color code is always composed of three characters (letters or numbers).

Important :
CITROËN metallic and/or pearlescent colors can only be ordered in solvent-based 1K Paint.

Flexibility, High gloss index and increased resistance against scratches, hydrocarbons, UV radiation and temperatures up to 200°C.

Theoretical yield: per coat: 9-10m²/ L

Manual:
It is a polyurethane lacquer: this means that the drying is done by polymerization thanks to the action of a hardener.

Caution: Once the hardener is mixed into the base,
use the product within 3 hours.
You can let it sit for 15 minutes before use to allow the product to stabilize.

The mixture is done by volume (not by weight) at 2 for 1:
- 100 volumes of lacquer 7080
- 50 volumes of hardener
- dilution according to the preference of the painter: about 10% thinner

Before application
Thoroughly degrease, clean, dust and prepare the raw surface if necessary (if it is metal, plastic, etc.)

On old paintwork, no primer is necessary:
a light sanding at 800 with abrasive paper is enough to create the grip.

Application:
Spray (1.2 - 1.5mm) in 1 or 2 coats spaced 10 min apart.
Recommended dry film thickness: 60µm

Drying:
Touch dry in 1 hour
