Aluminium-based airbrush paints

In the different fields and the different disciplines of paintings from prehistory, to classical paintings, through paintings of the plastic arts, building, or industry, we can clearly say that the champions in terms of of iridescent effects are the Sparkle airbrush paints, which are actually a range offering a cocktail of the most interesting effects that can be found among automotive paints and airbrush paints.

Essentially dedicated to airbrushing, its “Sparkle” colors mean “sparkle” in English. They are obtained by heterogeneous and original mixtures of all kinds of pigments with particularly reflective and scintillating properties.

It is possible, and naturally extremely interesting, to obtain a color on a surface which is capable of producing both a base color and also a different highlight color. This is what the SPARKLE colors offer, for example, and this is easily obtained by mixing an orange hue with a golden mother-of-pearl.
You can even imagine totally different and even opposite hues in the chromatic circle, with a green or purple hue, coupled with a golden mother-of-pearl.
Why are these paints reserved for airbrush paint?
Well, there is an explanation for that. Mother-of-pearl paints are difficult to apply with a roller or brush. Airbrush paint has the advantage of being sprayed onto the medium from a distance and the application tool never touches the medium.
When using a brush, marks are created on the surface , same with a roller. On the contrary, the airbrush paint makes it possible to spray perfectly and homogeneously all the pearls and the particles of micro glitter on the surface.

The quality of Sparkle paints

These are no more and no less than professional solvent-based automotive paints. Their only difference is that they allow themselves a little more originality in the design of the colors and especially which are packaged in 125 ml format. This has an advantage for all users who do not want to paint a motorcycle or a car but only small parts, for example fishing lures, a video game controller, or even a leather boot... They are particularly easy to apply once you understand how they work. Be careful, they are all different and you have to take the time to know the instructions in order to succeed. For example, each color needs a different background color. Often white or black is recommended.

This is little known and this is due to the fact that their denomination has been changed. Still, it's all about those great special effects.
