What is a "matt base" paint?

Today in the world of automotive bodywork, almost all paints are delivered in this version. These paints are called "matt bases to varnish" "two-coat" paint, because it is used in 2 stages, with first the application of the paint, followed second by the varnish.
This is a single-component paint. No hardener is necessary. It is the transparent varnish that ensures the solidity and resistance of the paint

Offers, packaging and covering powers:

Dacia paints are supplied in pure version, to be diluted with their thinner supplied in the kit, with the exception of the 250ml and 500ml pots which are supplied already diluted

For 1 liter of diluted paint, it is possible to paint 5m²

For pure paints, add approximately 70% of the thinner supplied with the kit (70 parts for 100 parts of paint)
For diluted paints 250 or 500ml, simply stir.

Applying Dacia paint

On the old base or on a primer, sanded with 500, perfectly dusted, dry, degreased, Apply the paint in 2 to 3 coats, until you obtain a covering color.
Between each coat, wait 3 to 5 minutes.
For pearlescent and metallic paints, it is often recommended to apply ½ coat at the end, in order to homogenize. This coat is applied 30 cm from the support.

About solvent-based paints:
They are preferably applied between 15 and 25 degrees. They dry very quickly and are easy to apply. They do not flow
They can be applied with all types of guns (1.0 to 1.4mm)
