Some simple rules to observe:
The weighing: To mix the resin with its hardener, a precise mixture must be done.
For this, we recommend to use a high precision scale.
See our mini scales
Mixing: Dosing is as simple as can be (100g of resin/50g of hardener). Using a ruler, thoroughly mix the products, taking care to scrape the corners and walls of the container.
Curing: A minimum thickness of 4mm must be ensured, without which the resin cannot harden: in fact, the greater the thickness, the faster the resin dries. And vice versa.
By 20°C, the drying takes 12 to 24 hours
Using crystal resin on wood
If using raw wood, topcoat should be applied first to "block" the substrate
Here is a water-based clear coat that is most suitable.
For large castings, we recommend our epoxy resins in large packaging sizes
