Holographic Glitters are being used more and more for ready-to-wear, decorative objects, packagings, toys, silkscreen printing, floor coverings, wallpapers, plastics and resins. They are cost effective and deliver real added value in terms of visual impact.

What is a holographic Glitter effect?

The glitter has a base colour, opaque and permanent. It produces a prismatic reflection effect whose colour perceived by the eye varies precisely depending on the angle of view, and changes colour through the various shades of the rainbow.

The "holographic reflection" occurs only in the presence of an incident light source.

Glitter is a microplastic that has been banned from sale in dry powder form since September 2023. STARDUST offers an alternative offer of pigment paste* METALFLAKES: Flakes are contained by a resin to prevent releases into the environment during use.
The concentrated paste is easy to use and has multiple advantages. The concentrate is mixed directly into the varnishes, binders, resins or plastics, which after drying, permanently form a dry, polymerized, solid film or material.

Precautions for use for the private or professional user
In order to avoid any accidental release of microplastics into the environment, it is important to avoid any discharge into the sewers of residues after application
Clean the gun / brushes / rollers thoroughly, and contain the residues in a bottle to be returned to the recycling center or a specialized waste center. When rinsing the tools, use a conical paper filter.
► cleaning the gun in the water version: filter the rinsing residue with a 125µm conical filter (link) and dispose of it with household waste.
Clean the areas thoroughly after use.
