Make a successful helmet painting with our complete kits !
You must surely realize that painting a helmet is not easy...
Especially since its difficult to find good quality products in small quantities !
Here are our complete kits :
(Each kit contains paints and consumables)
Each 125ml bottle contains a car body paint.
These are the automotive paints that are recommended for helmet painting. In particular the solvent-based paints.
What are their advantages ?
Fine and light texture, allowing fast drying, easy work during sanding or masking:
They are perfect, in comparison with water-based paints, which are thicker and heavier, and difficult to work with.
Our paints are perfectly suitable for helmet painting, why ?
It is said that in the event of a road accident, if the motorcyclist is transferred to hospital for examinations, his helmet is only removed after undergoing X-ray procedures.
Its mainly for this reason that paints which dont block X-rays should be used.
Our colours are lead-free guaranteed.
Can paints weaken a motorcycle helmet? And void its manufacturer's warranty ?
No, the paints cannot compromise the solidity of a helmet. Besides, its fair to say that most helmets are already painted and topcoated during manufacturing in the factory.
A motorcycle helmet manufacturer can of course decline any responsibility, under the pretext that the helmet has been "modified".

What are the SPARKLE, FLUO and GRAPHIC colours ?
Provided in 125ml small format, these colours are solvent-based matt bases to topcoat (auto/moto paint type)
The Graphic colours are "flat" colours, while the Sparkle are metallic or pearl colours. The fluo paints are extra bright and luminous colours most appreciated in the motorcycle field.
>>> See attachment in the DOCUMENTS tab for the colour charts of these 3 ranges.
Advice ! Dont forget the background colour !
A white or black background is often needed, for fluo paints for example, or pearl or chameleon paints.
Paint yield : 125ml = one helmet
Application :
Our paints are suitable for airbrush or spray gun (from 0.2mm to 1.4mm)
A delicate exercise :
Preparation of the substrate before painting on a motorcycle helmet
How does it work ?
Like for any car body paint, a slight sanding is done to obtain paint adhesion.
All helmets are clearcoated. It is therefore necessary to sand finely.
Only a few elements can often be dismantled. All the rest must be hidden, using the masking adhesives.
Its always a difficult job to mask the rubber, and also to protect the foam.
Advice : Use ultra-flexible green masking lines and our scalpel.
Should a primer be used ?
Some helmets include important reliefs due to the designs and graphics that decorate them
If you dont want these reliefs to appear in an annoying way in the background of your work, you need to level the surface.
This is where a thick layer of primer comes in, and a good sanding.
It is possible to order a 125ml gray one-component 1C primer or a two-component primer aerosol
