Nature and composition of Hyundai paint
In the world of body painting, a particular type of paint is used.
This paint is called a "two-coat paint", because it is done in 2 layers: Hyundai code paint + Varnish
It is also called a "matt base to varnish" in the jargon of painters

It is a solvent-based paint, which is fluid and easy to paint. It is easy to apply and dries quickly at room temperature. It is imperative to varnish it immediately with a 2-component body varnish

Instructions for applying Hyundai paint
The paint can be applied to the old paint directly after sanding with 500 grit sandpaper. In general, it is advisable to apply a preparatory coat, i.e. a filling primer, in order to correct any surface defects, but also to create a solid background color.

For many Hyundai color codes, it is also specified to use a specific primer color. If you order your primer from us, the preparer will provide you with the exact color of the primer you need. Remember to ask us.

In all cases, sanding with 500 grit must be carried out, and the surface must be thoroughly cleaned before painting. We offer degreaser, but also sticky wipes to remove dust. We also offer a complete kit of complementary products for preparing the surface.

The application of the paint is very simple and fast
Apply 2 to 3 thin coats, waiting 2 to 5 minutes between each coat, depending on the ambient temperature.
Once the Hyundai paint is applied, it is very important not to delay in varnishing: The varnish must be applied before 30 minutes to allow it to adhere to the fresh paint

Additional information
Use a paint gun with a nozzle of 1.0 to 1.5 mm
Use an air pressure of 2.5 bars
Work with an ambient temperature of 15 to 25 °

Go to the HYUNDAI category, where you will find the indications in the form of drawings or diagrams. Usually, the colour code is composed of 2 to 4 numbers or letters, which are written on a plate in the door, and sometimes in the engine compartment
