Lexus car paint code - Car colour code in 1K solvent-based basecoat

We manufacture Lexus brand paints in solvent-based versions. Our colors are identically matched to the original factory colors of the Japanese brand.

Once your order is placed, you can send us your Lexus color code by email to colors@stardustcolors.com the reference of your Lexus color in the box provided, during the shopping cart step.

Product does not comply with Directive 2004/42/EC Annex II B. Paint product recommended for the customization and decoration of vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, jet skis, bicycles, helmets or collector cars.

Without a color code or Lexus color name, we cannot search the colorimetry software and its Lexus database.

Description of offers:
Depending on the format, Lexus paint is delivered pure or diluted. Pure paint is delivered with a thinner. Dilution must be done at 50-60% according to your preference and also according to the size of the nozzle of your paint gun.

We also offer the aerosol version, which contains the same quality of paint. (1 spray = 400ml paint and gas)

The amount of paint to be provided
To cover 1m², 200-250ml of diluted paint are necessary.

Prepare your support

The background in good condition does not necessarily need a primer. A background on which putty has been applied, or a striped background needs a filling primer. It is strongly advised not to paint on a multi-colored or non-homogeneous background.

Some colors of the Lexus brand must be applied on a primary background of a particular color. For information, our color technician is at your disposal at this email colors@stardustcolors.com or by phone.

The background must in all cases be sanded with P500, well degreased, well dried and dusted.

Application of the paint
Aerosol, airbrush, paint gun.
Recommended air pressure for the gun (2.0-2.5 bars)
Apply 2 or 3 coats / drying interval: 2 min
For metallic or pearlescent paints, it is customary to apply a light veil at the end.
Continue directly with the varnish, without leaving more than 30 minutes to elapse.

This clearcoat is available in 3 speeds corresponding to each of the seasonal temperatures.
This is the most important step and surely the most difficult to achieve.
You must obtain a beautiful, shiny and flawless coat.
The realization of a successful varnish lies in the right quantity of varnish sprayed and the respect of the drying times. It is simply necessary to apply two beautiful shiny layers, waiting 10 minutes between the 2 layers.
If the varnish is not successful, it is always possible to do a light sanding after complete hardening, then to revarnish the next day
