In 2024, after 15 years of existence, the CRYSTAL interference range was renamed GHOST Interference. For the manufacture of this transparent paint, the mother-of-pearls of the CRYSTAL range are used.

Products included:
- 1 Liter of paint for the background (solvent-based matte base coat ready to use)
- 1 Liter of ready-to-use transparent GHOST pearlescent intercoat
- 1.5 Liter kit of UHS varnish (includes 1L of UHS830 varnish + 330 ml hardener and 150 ml thinner)

Aspect: 

The Stardust® pearl GHOST effect shows under the light but stays invisible the rest of the time. It takes the aspect of a gorgeous coloured reflection, pearl and glitter, that makes a sharp contrast with the background colour. It’s the interference phenomenom.

The effect is visible under the sun, but also by night time, under lamposts.

Possible Combinations:

You can get the most interesting effects when the blackground colour is the opposite of the intercoat one.

Application:

Step 1 / On the prepared, healthy, clean background, sanded with P500:
Apply the base paint with a few thin coats (Single-component matte base paint, ready to use and pre-diluted)

Step 2 / Paint the "Ghost" paint, with 2 to 4 thin coats until you obtain the desired effect. We respect a time interval of 2-5 minutes between each coat. Follow directly with the varnish.

Step 3 / Prepare the varnish mixture with 3 parts varnish for 1 part hardener. Dilute according to your preference and your gun nozzle, between 5 and 15%.

Apply 2 glossy coats with 10 minutes of interval.

Mixture life: 60min

Drying and commissioning: 24h
