For PEUGEOT brand vehicles, the plate mentioning the paint color code (vinplate) can be found in 3 different places.

- Inside the engine compartment.
- On the left front door leaf (driver's side).

Peugeot Direct Glossy Car Paint

Peugeot paint application:
Mixed:
The product is catalyzed by its hardener.
Attention: at room temperature, once the hardener is mixed, the pot life of the mixed product is 3 hours.
The mixture is done by volume (not by weight) at 2 for 1:
- 100 parts of paint
- 50 parts hardener
- dilution according to the painter's preference: around 10% thinner

Before application:
Degrease, clean, dust and prime the raw surface if necessary (if it is metal, plastic, etc.)
On old paints, the use of a primer is not necessary: a light sanding with 800 grit is sufficient to create the grip.

Application:
Spray (nozzle between 1.2 and 1.5mm) apply 1 or 2 coats, respecting an interval of 10min
It is strongly recommended to paint at a temperature of at least 20°C

With the aerosol: shake the can well vertically, then activate the hardener at the bottom of the aerosol thanks to the red cap.

Important :

PEUGEOT car paint in direct gloss is a glossy and thick lacquer:
Applying too thin a coat may result in a lack of shine.
Applying a layer that is too thick/wet may cause dripping.

Drying:
Dry to the touch in 1 hour and completely dry in 24 hours

Yield: 9-10m² per L
