Where can you find your Porsche color code on the bodywork?

For PORSCHE brand vehicles, the plate mentioning the color code (vinplate) can be found in three different places.

- Inside the engine compartment.
- Between the two doors on the left side (driver's side).
- In the compartment for the spare wheel

The color code is made up of three characters (letters or numbers).

How to tell us the Porsche color code?

PORSCHE GLOSS DIRECT BODYWORK 7080UHS paint

Main qualities:
Flexibility, High gloss index and resistance to scratches, gasoline, ultraviolet rays.

Application Instructions and Tips:
Mixed :
The mixture is done by volume (not by weight) at 2 for 1:
- 100 volumes of hairspray
- 50 volumes of hardener
- dilution according to the preference of the painter: about 10% thinner
Rest 5/10 min then use within an hour.

Before application:
Thoroughly degrease, clean, dust and prepare the raw surface if necessary (if it is metal, plastic, etc.)
On old paints, no primer is necessary: a light sanding with 800 is enough to create the grip.

Application:
Spray (1.2 - 1.5mm) in 1 or 2 coats (10min interval)
Recommended dry film thickness: 60µm

Drying:
Touch dry in 1 hour
