Preparing the support
In all cases, select PPG D8434 or D837 cleaner For fragile materials and paints. PPG offers a complete line of cleaning and degreasing products
Ensure the substrate is thoroughly cleaned and dried before and after preparation work.

Ready to use. no hardener required for this easy-to-use, lightweight, practical, quick-drying one-component putty.
Note: A242 V.B.A putty should preferably be applied in several thin layers, leaving a flash-off interval between each of 5 to 10 minutes at 20°C, rather than applying a maximum thickness in one go. This prevents cracking or shrinkage.
Application must be done using a plastic spatula or metal spatula.
Drying and covering
Can be sanded and recoated after 30-60 minutes of air drying.
Of course, depending on the ambient temperature and the thickness of the film.
Allow drying at room temperature, and do not use infrared lamps
Sanding
Use a P220 abrasive sheet then a P400 or P500 abrasive sheet before painting.
Use a P320 sanding sheet before priming.
Only dry sand
