HRC paints and Lexan bodies degreaser
Available in 69 ml and 250 ml bottles
How a degreaser works
A surface may be covered with invisible contaminants that are incompatible with the proper application of a paint.
The various contaminants are dust, dirt, grease, silicones
in the presence of a contaminant, the paint will not properly wet the surface, defects may appear, and also the level of adhesion may be compromised.
For this reason, the preparation of the support is an important step
in the rules of the art of painting, the preparation consists of
dust removal
drying
sanding
degreasing
The degreasing of Lexan bodies for RC model making :
We recommend applying the degreaser with a clean cloth on the inside of the Lexan body, then with another clean cloth, remove the degreaser and dry the surface well.
Our plastic cleaning solvent is effective for stripping acrylic paints of all brands..
It acts as a stripper but is not aggressive for plastic. You have to apply enough, let it act and possibly repeat the operation depending on the thickness of the paint and its degree of drying.
Attention :
A degreaser should always be removed before painting.
It is not recommended to let a degreaser evaporate by leaving it on the surface
