HIKARI RC Ghost series paints – 6 pearlescent transparent colours for RC model painting

New "GHOST" series of effect paints for LEXAN, specially designed for airbrush decoration on Lexan bodies, ensuring total and direct adhesion to the plastic.

Here are 6 new colours that allow RC model painters to create transparent pearlescent "GHOST" effects:

These interference colours can be applied as the first layer (directly on Lexan) before adding an opaque colour.

The iridescent colour reflection is visible or invisible depending on the viewing angle and light.

GHOST GREEN HRC421 : Green pearlescent reflection

GHOST TURQUOISE HRC422 : Turquoise pearlescent reflection

GHOST BLUE HRC423 : Blue pearlescent reflection

GHOST VIOLET HRC424 : Violet pearlescent reflection

GHOST RED HRC425 : Red/Pink pearlescent reflection

Composition :

Solvent-free, ready-to-use acrylic Lexan paint

Colourless and transparent paint

Adhesion :

Hikari RC paints have been designed by decorative painters specialising in RC modelling. They guarantee direct adhesion without the need for primer or sanding on Lexan.

Use :

Shake the bottle well before use.

The bottle contains a mixing ball to help blend the pigments.

Spray with a gun (0.2 mm nozzles or larger).

The paint can be diluted with water to increase its smoothness.

Note: It is not recommended to dilute more than 5% or 10%, as adding water may compromise adhesion properties on plastic.

Apply 1 to 3 coats depending on the desired effect.

Drying time : At 20°C, 10 minutes per coat.

Recoating possible without sanding within 24-48 hours.
