RAINBOW SPEKTRA

The Rainbow Spektra paint produces an iridescent prismatic effect by defragmenting the light in all the colours of the spectrum: it means that it creates a pearl rainbow effect, when under a source of light.

The paint can produce very different finishes depending on the colour of the undercoat and of the quantity of products used.

Of grey aspect, the product won’t change the colour of the background  in less than 2 to 3 coats. Beyond that, and especially on a black background, the paint will give in low light a metallic grey finish. Any colour can thus work for the background.

The particle size is 68 µm (0.068mm) which represents a medium pearl size or very thin flakes.

APPLICATION :

1 – Apply a Grey aluminium basecoat (or of any other colour: black for example, on which the effect will show more. On an aluminium background the Rainbow Spektra paint stays invisible in low light).

2- Apply the paint in repeated very thin passes until the desired effect is obtained. Only after topcoat with any automotive clear coat.

SET UP: Spraygun or airbrush, Nozzle: from 0.8mm

MIXING : Ready to use.

UNDERCOAT: He must be a matt base sanded with P500-P800

Depending on the final effect you desire, 1.5 to 4L  are necessary for a complete automotive finish, as the coverage performance is of 1.5 to 5sqm/L.
