Preparation of the support :

the surface must be thoroughly cleaned before applying the paint. It is possible to use a degreaser and a “homemade” laundry-type cleaner.
For optimal cleaning use our PPG D837 cleaner

Scrub the surface well with a gray abrasive sponge, then rinse.

Dry with a clean cloth.

For perfect adhesion and excellent durability over time, it is important to have a healthy, clean and dry surface.

Application :

• Solvent-free water-based acrylic bathtub paint

Mixture : ready-to-use paint

Apply 2 coats

time interval between each layer :

30 minutes with a roller / 10 minutes with a paint gun

Paint gun adjustment : 3 bars / nozzle 1.4-1.5 mm

Dry to the touch : 1 hour – dry : 12 hours

• 2-component solvent-based polyurethane bathtub paint

Mixture : by volume 100 parts of lacquer + 50 parts of hardener

Shelf life of the mixture : 1 hour at 20°C

Apply 2 coats

time interval between each layer :

20 minutes with a roller / 10 minutes with a paint gun

Paint gun adjustment : 2.5 bars / nozzle 1.3-1.4 mm

Dry to the touch : 4 hours – dry to the touch : 24 hours
