FlakeBuster

The FlakeBuster is a special pneumatic gun for spraying dry powders.

Its large-diameter (1cm) aluminium nozzle enables to spray flakes or particles up to 3 mm.

The FlakeBuster is thus ideal to apply METAL FLAKES of any size, on a freshly painted and still wet substrate (binder or top coat).
Indeed, instead of mixing flakes to a transparent basecoat, then painfully applying them with a spray gun, it has proven to be very effective and convenient to stick them on a sticky surface.

Use and adjustment: connect the "Flakebuster" to a compressed air source (pressure from 1 to 2.5 bars), and adjust the air flow with the trigger of the gun. The straw flow can be adjusted with the wheel provided under the cup

The Flakebuster can be used for applying very efficiently our retro-reflective glass micro beads.

To stick the glitter, we advise to use a varnish + slow hardener (830 Ultra HOURS - direct link at the bottom of the page)

Caution: Never spray sharply jet of very thin and dry powders such as pearls or Diamond flakes.

This gun is not intended for spraying liquids.
