Hybrid formula with 100% Water based Acrylic-PU
Their qualities are similar to those of airbrush solvent-based paints (in terms of fineness, drying time and resistance), but without the disadvantages. It’s the same composition that is used now in the field of automotive painting.

DATA SHEET
Airbrush (all nozzles from 0.2mm)
Shake the paint bottle well until pearls at the bottom of the bottle are fully dispersed
Thinning possible up to 20% with our S5 or S6 thinners
Preference should be given to S6 Thinner when high resistance is needed and adhesion can be difficult
Air pressure: 2 to 4 bars (30-60PSI)
Spraying with repeated thin passes at a distance of 10 to 15cm from the substrate
Dry to the touch: 5min per coat at 20°C
In cold weather, drying time can be accelerated by using hot air

Substrates:
In all cases, it’s important to apply Metallic series paints over a black background, or WPU011 Black Paint or WPU501 Black Primer, with the exception of:
WPU134 Mystic White Paint > over White WPU001 background or WPU502 Primer
WPU150 Chrome Effect Paint > over very dry and high-gloss WPU160 Topcoat
Cleaning: with our cleaner thinner

Addition of H6 Hardener
With a mixing ratio of 1 to 4%, it provides further hardening of the paint (like a polyurethane paint)! find the hardener H6 here
Finish
Clear coat application is optional; our water-based topcoats (see our range of 3 acrylic topcoats ) can be used, even conventional polyurethane clear coats are suitable, provided to allow first the paint to fully dry.
About the WPU150 Water-based Chrome Paint:
It creates a very interesting chrome effect, with high resistance It’s achieved by applying some fine passes over a black background topcoated with our gloss WPU160 clear coat, well dry and hardened.
Paint storage
Tightly closed, in a cool place, sheltered from the sun for 12 months.
