HIGH QUALITY DIRECT GLOSS FOR TOYOTA VEHICLE
The UHS Direct Gloss Lacquer Finish is developed for the refinishing (repairs, touch-ups, complete) of automobile and heavy goods vehicle bodies.
7080 Lacquer is a premium Low VOC product.
UHS *: Ultra HigH Solid means that the solids content after evaporation of the solvents is higher. This allows for better packing, greater thickness, and better durability.
Gloss Direct: This means that the product does not need to be varnished; as opposed to two-coat basecoats, it is glossy, hard and resistant in a single step.
All TOYOTA paint color codes since 1950*
Important: The realization of a "direct gloss" paint is only possible in so-called opaque shade (NOT METALLIC or PEARL)

USE OF DIRECT GLOSS UHS 7080 series
It is a two-component lacquer: this means that the drying is done by polymerization using a hardener.
The product does not air dry. Caution: Once the hardener is added, the product must be used within 3 hours.
You can let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the product to stabilize.
THE MIXING is done by volume (not by weight) at 2:1:
- 100 volumes of lacquer 7080
- 50 volumes of hardener
- dilution according to the preference of the painter: about 10% thinner
Hardener and thinner are supplied with the paint
Before application:
Thoroughly degrease, clean, dust and prepare the raw surface if necessary (if it is metal, plastic, etc.)
Our adhesion primers and our filling primers are present in the PRIMARY category
and also in aerosol version
On old paintings, in good condition, no primer is necessary: a light sanding with 800 is enough to create the grip.
