Bike Frame Primer Spray for Steel and Aluminum - Stardust Bike

Stardust Bike Metal Primer Spray contains a primer that has a dual function :

• adhering to the different materials of metal bike frames

• protect its ferrous or non-ferrous surfaces from corrosion

P714 Primer is a professional product specifically used on aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized, steel

There is no need to apply this primer on a bike frame already painted or primed.
It is however imperative to use this bike primer on all bare metal surfaces, otherwise the paint can easily peel off.

Background color :

Our Stardust Bike primer is available in three colors : pure white, pure black and gray.

It can therefore be used as a necessary background color prior to the application of the various pearlescent, metallic or special effect paints in the Stardust Bike range.

One component, ready to use

Application :

The bike frame must first be deoxidized, lightly sanded, cleaned, degreased, dusted and dried.
Shake well before using
Apply one or two coats of primer at five minute intervals.
It is not recommended to apply more coats or thickness.

Coating with paints :

In multilayer painting systems it is always very important to obtain maximum adhesion between the different coats, for this there are two options :

• quickly cover with the following paint (within 20 to 30 minutes after application)

• or wait for complete drying and sand with P500

Theoretical coverage 1 m² / spray / 1 coat

Thickness: 1 coat = 15-20µm dry
