Spider Web Paint Spray – 1000 Threads Effect Paint

The Spider Web Effect Paint, also known as "1000 Threads" Effect, is a decorative special effect from the Stardust textured effects series. This paint can be applied to any surface, particularly in custom automotive painting, motorcycle fairings, bicycle frames, as well as in decorative and architectural design.

When sprayed, fine filaments form to create a unique spider web-like texture.

Application instructions

The application process is simple and flexible. Before applying the final coat, it is recommended to perform test sprays to adjust technique. It is important to maintain a fast hand movement while spraying and to keep the spray can in motion at all times. The effect can be achieved with one or two passes, applied either in the same direction or in opposite directions to create interwoven filament patterns.

Base color

This effect can be applied over any base color. By experimenting with contrasting base colors, unique and visually striking combinations can be achieved. It is also possible to create a marble-like finish when using the "1000 Threads" aerosol spray. No special preparation is required, but for optimal results, it is preferable to apply the spider web effect paint on a sanded surface with P500 grit or on a freshly applied base ready for clear coating.
