The Spider Web Effect Paint, also known as the 1000 Threads Effect, is a decorative special-effect coating from Stardust’s Textured Effects series. This paint can be applied to any surface, particularly in custom bodywork paintwork, motorcycle fairings, bicycle frames, as well as in decorative and architectural design.
When sprayed, fine filaments form and create a unique spider web-like texture.

Application instructions
The application process is simple and versatile. Before applying the final coat, it is recommended to perform a few test sprays to adjust your technique. It is essential to maintain quick and continuous hand movement while spraying, keeping the can in motion at all times. The desired effect can be achieved with one or two passes, applied either in the same direction or in opposite directions to create interwoven filament patterns.
Base colour
This effect can be applied over any base colour. By experimenting with contrasting bases, you can obtain unique and visually striking results. A marble-like finish can also be achieved when using the 1000 Threads aerosol spray. No special preparation is required, but for optimal results, it is preferable to apply the spider web effect paint on a sanded surface with P500 grit or over a freshly applied basecoat ready for Clearcoating..
