Infrared and ultraviolet drying lamps for paint 

Infrared and ultraviolet dryers are equipment composed of special lamps, which are used by painting professionals to accelerate and optimize the drying of paints, primers, lacquers and varnishes.

Drying lamps accelerate the evaporation of solvents or water, and thus the drying of freshly applied paints. But not only that, because the lamps also make it possible to accelerate the chemical reaction of polymerization of two-component paints.

The lamps are always used, after having waited for a certain period of drying at room temperature, which is called the desolvation period.

Infrared lamps emit heating waves.
Ultraviolet light lamps produce waves at the opposite end of the spectrum from visible electromagnetic waves. These ultraviolet rays which are between 400 nm and 365 nm are highly energetic, and allow the drying of paints without heating. It's UV lamps are therefore very practical when working on heat-sensitive surfaces or materials.

UV technology for the automotive industry is relatively new, the advantage is that IR curing takes minutes, UV curing takes seconds - also more energy efficient with the introduction of UV LED technology
